Overview
The CateringKu project is a learning project developed as part of a Startup Business Development course during my 4th semester. In this project, I took on a dual role as both a UI/UX Designer and a Front-end Developer.
As a UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for designing the core layout of the website, including structure, navigation, and visual elements to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience. Using Figma, I created designs that are not only visually appealing but also functional.
As a Front-end Developer, I translated those designs into a fully functional website using Tailwind CSS and Flowbite. This allowed me to build a responsive and visually consistent interface. Combining both roles enabled me to deliver a product that is user-friendly, informative, and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Learning Points
Here are some key skills and insights I gained from this project:
- Intuitive UI/UX Design: Designing layouts and navigation that are easy for users to understand
- Modern Front-end Implementation: Converting design into code using Tailwind CSS and Flowbite
- Responsive & Aesthetic Design: Ensuring the website looks great across devices, from desktop to mobile
- Design & Development Integration: Bridging the gap between design thinking and implementation
- Startup Mindset: Understanding how to build a digital product as part of a startup initiative in an academic setting
